My name is Maryanne, I am 35 years old and I am originally from Bristol in England. I have a Honors in my Bachelor’s Degree in English linguistics and French and a TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language) I have been teaching English for the past 7 years in an International secondary school, through private lessons and to students online. As well as this I have a passion for languages I have helped people of all ages and nationalities to learn English for many different reasons ranging from fun and pleasure to exams and work. I have travelled to many different countries and have realized over and over again how lucky I am to have English as my native language. English is a language that has a presence in every corner of the world. It is frequently used between speakers of foreign languages as a common language of communication. It has become the language of Information Technology and many would say the language of international commerce. I'm a bit of a grammar geek (that means I like grammar.... honestly;) ) and I'm generally fascinated by language, even my own. So, I hope you'll find me to be an inspiring, fun and knowledgeable teacher.
